APB-25 consists of a transparent plastic shell (PP), which has a plastic plug (PE) on both ends. The plug on one side has a designated entry point of breakable plastic for easy detonator insertion. The booster charge is made of a plasticized explosive mixture on a PETN basis. APB-25 is mostly used as an underground Booster for initiating emulsion explosives (Hydromite 100).
